A guest laughing, hands lifted through freshly painted caramel balayage, on a warm rust studio ground.

The blondeyou keepcoming back to.

Saffron is a small studio of color specialists. Balayage, dimensional blonde, and corrective color, painted by hand and named at the chair. We do not sell a slot. We design a result you can live in for the next six months.

Looks from the chair.

Every look below is a real color story, root to ends, from a recent appointment.

Honey-blonde balayage waves, hand-painted from a cool base to golden ends.

Honey Drift

Mireille Dubois

Hand-painted balayage

A cool base warmed two shades toward the ends. Golden, but never gold.

A smoky ash-blonde bob in profile, dimensional from root to tip.

Ash Ribbon

Talia Brandt

Dimensional blonde

Smoke and platinum ribboned through a level-six base for depth in motion.

Warm copper waves catching daylight, corrected from a brassy box color.

Burnt Saffron

Renata Salas

Color correction to glaze

A brassy box-dye rescue pulled into a warm, intentional copper over two sittings.

Bright root-to-end blonde balayage from behind, kept liveable at the root.

Vellum Blonde

Mireille Dubois

Dimensional blonde

The brightest we go, a soft, paper-warm blonde kept liveable at the root.

Lived-in espresso brunette from behind, lifted just enough at the face.

Cellar Brunette

Joon-ho Park

Lived-in brunette

Espresso depth lifted just enough at the face to catch the light.

Warm bronde with a soft gloss, glowing in golden light.

Amber Gloss

Talia Brandt

Glaze & gloss

A warm gloss laid over an existing bronde. A tone, not a color change.

Five disciplines, one obsession with tone.

Everything we do is color. No two heads of hair take light the same way, so every service starts with a read of what is already there, then a plan we both sign off on before a single foil goes in.

  • 01

    Hand-painted balayage

    3 to 4 hrs

Free-hand lightening painted to the way your hair falls, for a sun-grown gradient that grows out without a line.

  • 02

    Dimensional blonde

    4 to 5 hrs

Foil and paint worked together to build depth and brightness at once, the lived-in blonde that photographs as effortless.

  • 03

    Color correction

    By plan

Banding, brass, and box-color rescues. We map a route over one or more sessions and tell you the honest truth about timeline.

  • 04

    Glaze & gloss

    60 to 90 min

A between-visit tone refresh that closes the cuticle, kills brass, and brings the shine back up to a mirror.

  • 05

    Lived-in brunette

    2.5 to 3.5 hrs

Low-maintenance depth and warmth for darker bases, soft face-framing and a tone that reads rich, never flat.

A long appointment, on purpose.

Good color is not rushed. From the moment you sit down, the room is yours. A read of your hair, an espresso, and a colorist who explains every decision before it is made. You leave knowing exactly how to keep it.

01

The read

Fifteen minutes in natural light. We study your base, your history, and how you actually wear your hair day to day.

02

The plan

A clear route and an honest number before we begin, including whether the goal is one session or a few.

03

The work

Painted by hand, processed with care, and toned to the exact warmth we agreed on. No surprises at the mirror.

04

The keep

A take-home tone-and-care routine and your next visit mapped out, so the color holds the way it looked on day one.

Double-booked chairs, ever

You book a person, not a chair.

Every name here has spent years on one thing: tone. When you request a consultation you tell us who you have been watching, and if they are the right hand for the work, they are the one who paints it.

In their words
I have chased the same blonde in five cities. Mireille got it in one sitting, and six months later it still looks like I did nothing to it.
Helena V. · Vellum Blonde
Renata talked me out of the fast fix and into the right one. Two sessions, no drama, and the brass is just gone.

Before you ask.

Why a consultation instead of online booking?

Color time cannot be guessed from a dropdown. A correction and a gloss can both be "appointments," but one is forty minutes and one is a four-hour plan. We read your hair first so we book the right amount of time, and the right colorist.

Do you do cuts?

We are a color atelier first. We finish every color visit with a styling cut, and we will shape and frame on request. If you are after a full restyle alone, we will happily point you to a cutter we trust.

How long does balayage last?

Because it is painted to grow out without a hard line, most clients stretch four to six months between full visits, with a glaze in the middle to keep the tone honest.

Can you fix color from another salon?

Often, yes, and it is some of our favorite work. Send photos with your consultation request and Renata will give you a candid read on what is possible and over how many sessions before you commit.

What does it cost?

Color is quoted at consultation against your actual hair and goal. The pricing section shows honest starting points by colorist level so there are no surprises at the chair.
